LilyPondCanvas was born out of Nuna's passion for the classic American canvas tote bag. After being an enthusiastic consumer for years in New York and the Hamptons, and discovering their practicality for the hustle and bustle of homes, children, schools, sports, weekends, trips, the beach, boats, etc., she decided to bring them to Spain and start sharing them with friends and loved ones.

Originally from the fishermen in Maine, USA, who carried the ice from their boats in them, they have become over the last 50 years a classic and timeless icon in the American lifestyle between city and country. Their practicality, simplicity of line and intrinsic fabric quality make them indispensable for everyday wear thanks to their timeless, classic style.

We are fascinated that canvas tote bags help simplify life in such a radical way and contribute to eliminating plastic from our oceans and beaches, as they are 100% ecological and biodegradable.
